Before I even get started this morning let me say I'm sorry for not blogging the way I should. I do post daily mini blogs on myspace & twitter but it's not the same thing. It's hard to say much in 140 characters or less. Well myspace does give you 160 but that's not saying a lot more either. I do spend a lot of time everyday answering all of the messages, emails and comments we get. I think it's more important that we talk to our fans in a direct way if we can. Blogs seem so open ended sometimes. Maybe that's just because I ramble.
As for the records things are going really good. I think the spring deadline is right on track. It has been so much fun so far putting this one together. We have learned a lot about what we like & don't like and had fun in the process. I think we have learned some good life lessons as well.
On a side note, our song 'Be Mine' is now on 200+ radio stations across France! We are very excited. Thanks to Sophie and all of our French fans for making this happen!

Hi Andy:) I'm so happy your record is coming along so well. I probably already said that but there it is again!:) I think it's important to keep your fans on their toes and to try and stay in touch with them as much as time will allow. It makes the bond greater and makes them love you even more! An example is Collective Soul! I don't know if you know who they are or not but they are awesome with their fans! They have been around for years! I have shared tweets with Ed the singer and Dean, his brother, who plays the guitar. They are always playing games with us for free concert tickets and other prizes. They recently made us a fan video from pics we sent them and posted it at YouTube:) They have a twitter character they call FuzzySoul, who I think is also one of them, that plays twitter games with us. He made us the video. We had to send a pic of a rabbit, our favorite Collective Soul CD and something representing us, could be a drawing or anything as long as all three things were in the pic. Then they took all the pics they got and made the slideshow video for YouTube! It was awesome! I posted it on myspace, you should go look if you are bored sometime:) My pic is a big pink bunny sitting on my couch with a beanie baby kid sitting on his leg, which is supposed to be me, and my 2 favorite CS cd's! FuzzySoul is a rabbit by the way and his name is Frankie Fuzzbox:) Their new cd is self titled and has a rabbit on the booklet, so that's where all the rabbit stuff comes from! And they manage to do all this stuff while touring too!!! They work real hard to stay in touch with fans! That was alot of work trying to explain all that and make sense too!!! Just go look at the video on myspace and the rest is self explanatory!!! The point I'm so badly trying to make is I know it goes a long ways staying as close as "possible" to your fans! It builds a long and loyal fan base:) I'm sure you already know this or you wouldn't do what you do. I completely disregarded one little band on myspace because they seemed so ungrateful to their fans. They were real good too, but ignored questions about their music or anything else for that matter!!! That's crazy to me when their wanting people to buy their music. You won't always be able to answer every question each fan has but they will know you appreciate them and do the best you can! Sorry this is so long! You know 140 characters kill me on twitter!!! That's why I like to go to FB because you have more room to talk but I don't really know how to find people there. It's really hard! I mostly just play video's and post pics of my fave. band members:)LOL I have a couple of friends there I really like, but that's about it. I think your doing a great job building your career, hope things keep moving along for you as they are now!!! Much Love, Tammy
